Oil paintings series  2007.

This series follows the folkloristic tradition of Rabbi's paintings that are well distributed in Jewish ultra-orthodox around the world, but mainly in Jerusalem. Yet in a contemporary art context, this serves as a painterly investigation of how these spiritual authorities convey themselves in front of an earthly human positioning as a camera, and how a contemporary artist approaches religious images, in a secular manner.
